Humane Education Advocates Reaching Teachers (HEART) is a U.S.-based nonprofit that promotes humane education by integrating compassion for animals, people, and the environment into K–12 learning. Since 2001, HEART has provided free, standards-aligned lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching guides that support Social and Emotional Learning and academic subjects. Its climate-focused resources include a curated collection of age-appropriate lessons and activities, a deforestation simulation guide, and webinars on food justice and sustainability.
